Have you ever had a vision and watched it come to life before your very eyes?  Mauro, my boss of 9 years  is at this very moment!  He  shared  with me his dream after a flight home from his annual trip to Italy this past April.  He simply said “Kristen I saw it.  I am building a bar in Assaggio!”   I’ll  admit, I was a bit  reluctant at first as I am not as adaptable to change as he is!   Well, I am obviously a believer now.  It didn’t take much to convince me that change is good.  It’s beneficial to adjust with the times.    If you don’t, life will pass you by.  Afterall, that is what has made him a successful restauranteur for nearly 17 years now.   Our bar, Il Baretto is just a few weeks away from completion.  I can’t tell you how excited we are for the grand opening  (Sept 21-24th)!  It has given Assaggio a whole new life.
